Always Remember Him
This piece was written in late August of 2001 after the husband of a friend killed himself. Shortly after that, the events of 9/11 unfolded, and it felt like everyone needed the reassurance of the Savior's words to us.
The anthem is scored for soprano solo, soprano I/II, and alto voices plus piano accompaniment. Some of it has a call and response quality that reminds me of how we follow Him.
